In 2012, the world's population will hit 7 billion, the Kyoto Protocol will expire and the global licensing world will descend on Auckland, New Zealand to explore how innovation might be commercialised to "save the world" from threats such as disease, poverty, food shortages, over-population, terrorism and environmental destruction.
