WHY GIVE?
Your gift will help provide the sparks that turn great people into leaders and promising ideas into groundbreaking solutions to our greatest social and economic challenges. Your gift will support our proven, robust portfolio of academic, research and practical endeavors—and help recognize and scale innovative ideas and approaches that lead to positive change.
HOW ARE WE FUNDED?
We are funded through contributions to the Phoenix Project and the George Mason University Foundation, as well as budget line-items in departments throughout the University. Contributions from individuals and foundations are critical to our ability to deliver quality programming. Take a look at a representative list of our current and past supporters. These organizations and individuals, along with many others, believe in the power of social entrepreneurship and its promise for tackling age-old problems in sustainable ways.
WHY GIVE NOW?
The field of social entrepreneurship continues to receive more visibility—most recently from President Obama when he created the new White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation—at a time when the need is great to reinvigorate our economy and address pressing social issues like climate change, poverty, health care, and education. Becoming a supporter today will inspire others and accelerate our much-needed efforts to catalyze social entrepreneurship.
HOW CAN I GIVE?
There are many ways to make your gift to the Mason Center for Social Entrepreneurship. Those ways include gifts of cash, appreciated property, tangible property and closely held stock. We would be pleased to provide information about these and other options for your use in financial and estate planning. You can make an online, tax-deductible gift today with your credit card using the link at the top of this page.
THANK YOU
We are grateful for what you do to advance our mission. Your gifts, like those before them, reflect confidence in our work and a belief in the power of social entrepreneurs to change the world. Please contact us for more information on ways to give, including naming and sponsorship opportunities.
